ADAM-6000 Ethernet I/O Modules

Gone are the days of changing the entire architecture of your control system in order to integrate a new automation or enterprise system. Advantech’s ADAM-6000 Ethernet I/O series allows easy integration through the latest internet technology.

Industrial Ethernet is fast becoming the de facto standard in industrial networks as its open network architecture provides seamless integration between layers. This makes the ADAM-6000 series an easy choice for your automation control system as they provide the most popular and open communication interfaces available.

Much like the ADAM-4000 series, the ADAM-6000 Ethernet I/O series has been designed to support a wide range of analog and digital signals including Thermocouple, RTD, Voltage, Current, Relay and Pulse sensor inputs. System administrators can gain access to this remote data through a standard Ethernet TCP/IP connection. The ADAM-6000 Ethernet I/O modules can be logically programmed to output analog and digital signals as well as transmit messages to a host computer on the same Ethernet network.

Utilising Advantech’s Graphic Conditioning Logic (GCL) ADAM.NET easy to use software with built in Peer-to-Peer (P2P) support, the ADAM-6000 Ethernet I/O modules can be controlled, monitored and updated remotely with little programming experience.

ADAM-6100 EtherNet/IP I/O Modules

The new ADAM-6100 series of Ethernet I/O modules are designed with 2,500V DC isolation protection making them resistant to field noise interference. They are also equipped with the Ethernet/IP protocol which allows for daisy chain connectivity, making it possible to transfer data much faster during process control routines. Daisy chaining modules also provides a more scalable system with fewer wires to help avoid interference commonly found in factory environments.
