JOB SPECIFICATION - .NET DEVELOPER

Reporting into the Marketing Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Website and software development
  • Development of back end administration systems
  • Development of internal operational software
  • Creation of reports  

We are looking to employ someone with the following attributes:
 
  • A passion for computing technologies
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to code robust, usable and optimised websites and software solutions
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Able to collaborate as part of a team or work on your own initiative as and when required
  • Excellent communicator and problem solver
  • Capable of multi-tasking

You should have technical knowledge/skills in the following areas:
 
  • T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server & Management Studio
  • HTML, CSS and Javascript / JQuery
  • ASP.net (vb) (or knowledge of C# with ability/willingness to adapt to vb)
  • Programming experience in legacy Web Forms or ability/willingness to adapt where required
  • Ability to familiarise, interpret and expand existing code
  • Testing and debugging new and existing systems
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with the Software Development Lead
  • Capable of maintaining technical integrity and quality of company websites and software across their lifetime

The successful candidate will also assist with:
 
  • Product administration on internal systems and websites
  • Providing technical website support to our Marketing Team
  • Supporting internal departments to ensure accuracy and usability of internal software solutions

Technical Sales/Account Manager

Impulse is currently looking to expand our team and have an opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales/Account Manager to join our dynamic sales department. The successful candidate will manage and further develop a number of existing strategic accounts and also target new accounts within a number of key vertical markets in the industrial computing sector as outlined by the Company.
 
The role requires the successful candidate to help in the design, development and deployment cycles of our customer projects. They will take responsibility for evaluating the potential of any design wins within their customer base, then negotiate customer contracts, qualify pricing and manage the on-going long-term requirements for the customer.
 
Although not a prerequisite, experience of the embedded computer and industrial communications market would be a benefit; however, applicants must have current and proven technical sales experience ideally gained within the industrial market sector. Excellent business acumen, strong technical awareness and outstanding interpersonal skills are also required.
 
The successful candidate must be confident in the promotion of key features and benefits of our embedded computing and industrial communication solutions and also our key business capabilities and services.
 
The remuneration package includes a basic monthly salary, monthly commission payable on the individuals sales GP and a yearly OTE bonus.
