5 year warranty for all Advantech Industrial Communication products

Impulse is pleased to announce that effective from the 1st of May 2012, all Advantech Industrial Communication products will now feature an extended 5 year warranty. Industrial Communication product groups affected include: Industrial Ethernet Switches, Media Converters, Serial Device Servers, Modbus Gateways and Serial Communication Cards.

Q. Which products are affected?
A. Industrial Ethernet Switches (EKI-2000/4000/6000/7000 series), Wireless AP/CPE (EKI-6300 series), Serial Device Servers and Modbus Gateways (EKI-1000 series), Cellular IP Gateways (EKI-1300 series) and Serial Communication Cards (PCI-1600 series).
Q. When does the new 5 year warranty start?
A. The new 5 year warranty policy starts with all shipments from Advantech after the 1st of May 2012.
Q. Does the new 5 year warranty cover existing orders?
A. The warranty period is based on the product shipping date. Any products shipped from Advantech after the 1st of May 2012 will be covered.
