IMPULSE will be attending the Microsoft® HUB UK 2010 Seminar held at the Microsoft Campus in Reading, UK on Thursday, May 6th. The HUB event focuses on Windows Embedded Technology.
Microsoft entered the embedded marketplace in November 1996 with the release of the popular Windows Embedded CE 1.0. Since then, Microsoft has expanded into a full line of embedded operating systems, which enable developers to build the next-generation 32-bit devices with a range of products that provide toolsets and development platforms for small to large device footprints.
According to the Microsoft Embedded Website - Thousands of embedded devices have been built with Windows Embedded products, from portable ultrasound machines to GPS devices and from ATMs to devices that power large construction machinery. With comprehensive features, easy-to-use tools, free evaluation kits and access to a large network of community support, Windows Embedded helps yield faster time to market and decreased development costs.
The IMPULSE team are proud to have been invited to this Microsoft HUB Event and look forward to speaking to current and new business associates in the Windows Embedded market.
Key events at the Microsoft Embedded Hub Event include:
- Windows Embedded Standard 7: Product Overview & Demo – Paul Kielty-White & Robert Smith
- Servicing the OS: New options in Windows Embedded Standard 7 – Robert Smith
- Microsoft Keynote: Windows Embedded – The Next Generation – Steve Walsh
HUB 2010 has been organised to help partners learn how to fully utilise the Microsoft embedded operating systems in their services and products. It will also be holding several hands-on labs to train partners in the latest release of Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 and Windows Embedded Standard.
