Impulse Embedded are pleased to announce we have completed the re-certification process with Achilles for both RISQS and UVDB.
These certifications ensure that Impulse maintain our position as part of the highly regarded Achilles supply chain network and community, where we demonstrate our assurance to providing high quality industrial computing products and solutions that meet the growing demands of the UK utilities sector & rail market.
Re-certification was achieved following a thorough pre-qualification process performed by Achilles, which focused on a number of Impulse's internal processes and practices that relate directly to the utilities and rail industries, as well as evaluating areas such as Quality Management, Health and Safety, Environmental Practices, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Ethics and Compliance.
Several established organisations within our core markets have become part of the UVDB
(Utilities Vendor Database) and RISQS
(Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) communities as they offer an approved mechanism for tendering for contracts and finding key suppliers. Our own customers benefit from our RISQS and UVDB certifications, as it enables us to significantly streamline and simplify the procurement process as many parts of our customer’s supplier audit process are completed in advance as part of the Achilles pre-qualification process.
On achieving Achilles UVDB & RISQS registration Robert Plant, Impulse Sales Director said:"Obtaining these registrations again really demonstrates our commitment to the rail and utilities sectors, as we look to minimise the overheads and costs for our customers when approving Impulse as a recognised supplier.”
Achilles are global leader for supply chain risk and performance management.
