Impulse is pleased to announce the new eI/O family of Ethernet digital I/O solutions from Sealevel Systems. The eI/O modules provide system designers with a compact and low cost solution for monitoring and control. They are perfect for a wide range of applications including process control, facility management, security and broadcast automation.
There are current five different I/O modules available offering a choice of optically isolated inputs, Reed relay outputs and Form C relay outputs. All eI/O modules are available in Power-over-Ethernet (PoE 802.3af) versions to connect to existing PoE networks with power and data provided on one cable. Alternatively users can choose DC powered models with 9-30V DC input range. The eI/O modules are DIN rail mountable and come with a plastic clip that can snap on to a 35mm DIN rail.
You can communicate with eI/O modules using industry standard Modbus TCP protocol or Sealevel SeaMAX software. The SeaMAX software suite supports the eI/O family and is designed to work with third party applications via the SeaMAX API. The SeaMAX software drivers and utilities make installation and operation easy using the Microsoft® Windows operating systems.
