New High Performance ATX Motherboard Available at Impulse

Impulse is pleased to welcome the SB600-C to our range of high performance, long life time and revision controlled industrial motherboards. This ATX motherboard utilises the low cost Intel B65 Express chipset and supports the latest 2nd generation socket LGA1155 Intel “Sandy Bridge” Core i7, i5 and i3 processors.
The SB600-C supports the latest high performance DDR3 memory and features four 240-pin DDR3 DIMM sockets. With a compatible 64-bit processor, this board can accept up to 32GB of dual channel DDR3 DIMM memory.
The SB600-C has been designed to take advantage of the integrated Graphics Engine built into the 2nd generation Intel Core processors. The integrated Intel HD Graphics Engine includes Intel Clear Video HD Technology and Intel Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) providing accelerated support for complex audio, video and image processing. The SB600-C features dual independent display support with its onboard DVI and VGA interfaces, offering 1920 x 1200 and 2048 x 1536 display resolution, respectively.
The SB600-C platform supports Intel Hyper-Threading and improved Intel Turbo Boost Technology, enabling the processor to handle two instruction threads per core and dynamically control its clock frequency as and when required. The combination of Intel’s Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost technology provides increased performance over the previous generation platforms for both multi-core and non-multi-core optimised applications.
For added performance the SB600-C includes one SATA-III port. The benefits of a SATA-III port include a higher data transfer rate (6Gb/s or ~715MB/s) and greater drive power management. The additional boost in data transfer rates allow users to utilise the full potential of a Solid State Drive without the performance bottleneck associated with SATA-II.
Networking capabilities on the SB600-C includes two Realtek Gigabit 10/100/1000Mbit Ethernet controllers compliant with IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3ab standards. The energy efficient design of the SB600-C enables support for the ErP Lot6 Power Saving Standard, ACPI, CPU Stopped Clock Control and AC Power Failure Recovery. For remote system management the SB600-C includes a number of Wake-on-Event features including Wake-on-PS2, Wake-on-USB and Wake-on-LAN.
The SB600-C platform offers flexible expansion with its PCIe x 16 socket, Mini PCIe socket and six PCI sockets. In addition, the SB600-C includes ten USB2.0 ports, six Serial COM ports and an 8-bit Digital I/O port.
