DFI are committed to strict revision control and this is reflected in the way they use the same components across their entire product range. DFI ensure that all customers are notified in advance of any upcoming product changes. When a change to a critical component is required, DFI perform extensive tests to ensure minimal interruption to customers when transitioning across to a new revision.
DFI ensures that their products will be available for a minimum of 3~5 years and keep sufficient stock of key components to minimise the risk of discontinuation. When key components become unavailable they issue an End of Life (EOL) notice 6 months prior to discontinuation. This gives customers plenty of time to test new hardware and transition over to a new platform.
DFI follow a strict ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 Quality Management System with QC080000 to ensure customers receive only the highest quality of products. This process includes full evaluations of the product from functionality/environmental/shipping tests down to lifecycle analysis and quality reliability tests.
DFI have a full in-house manufacturing centre that is designed to ensure stability and quality control. They have invested in technologies such as Surface Mount Technology (SMT), In-line Circuit Test Machines (ICT), Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and Manual Insertion (MI) production lines. With these capabilities, DFI is able to meet the demands of off-the-shelf products, custom design services and EMS in various industries.
