ICOP Technology Inc. are a leading designer and manufacturer of x86 embedded and half size boards with extensive supply and support roadmaps utilising their own processing cores. ICOP, are a member of DM&P Group and was started in 1989 as an industrial controller designer and manufacturer.
ICOP were influenced by the explosive growth of the industrial computer demand in early 1990's, they adopted x86 SoC (System-on-Chip) technology and built their reputation on offering solid embedded SBC (Single Board Computer) for applications that require a small footprint, low power consumption and wide temperature support.
ICOP have more than 20 years experience and have manufacturing facilities in both China & Taiwan. Impulse has been a partner with ICOP since 2001 and continues to work closely with ICOP as a key distributor in the UK market.
Impulse became a partner with ICOP Technology back in 2001 and have been distributing and supporting ICOP’s impressive range of x86 embedded and half size boards ever since. Their range is ideal for customers working on projects where a small footprint, low power consumption or wide temperature requirement are important factors.
In 2011, the Impulse management team visited the new ICOP production and R & D facility in Taiwan. This impressive facility will be operational from 2012 and will further enhance ICOP’s ability to support our UK based customers. ICOP continue to work closely with our own engineering team and are instrumental in supporting a diverse range of customer requirements by offering fast and efficient technical support and R & D services.
