Stoke-on-Trent, UK (24/03/2011) Impulse is pleased to announce the launch of the ARK-3440 Embedded PC from Advantech. The ARK-3440 is the first fanless i5/i7 Embedded PC available from Impulse. The high performance Embedded PC is available with both Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and is supported by the Intel QM57 graphics chipset. The QM57 integrated graphics chipset combined with the built in full HD HDMI decoder gives a real edge in performance over previous generations.
The powerful ARK-3440 supports up to 4GB of DDR3 memory with a clock speed of 1066/1333MHz. In addition, the ARK-3440 has Multi-Display support with CRT, DVI, HDMI 1.3 and optional 24-Bit LVDS interfaces. Communication options include 2 x 10/100/1000Mbit Ethernet (with Wake-on-LAN support), 3 x COMs, 4 x USB2.0 and optional support for Parallel and Digital I/O. The ARK-3440’s expansion capabilities include 1 x PCI & PCIe slot and 2 x Mini PCIe.
The ARK-3440 also has 2 x 2.5” SATA bays allowing space for solid state or mechanical storage. It also features a wide input voltage range: 9V to 34V DC and is available with 6 programmable function keys (ARK-3440A only). The innovative design of the ARK-3440 makes in an ideal solution for environments that require a compact and robust Embedded PC.
