Overview of PFM-535S

The PFM-535S adopts the low power DM&P Vortex86SX of Vortex86DX SoC on-board processors and has DDR2 256MB system memory. This feature-packed PC/104 module is equipped with the Intel 82551ER chipset to support two 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 network ports. Additional I/O includes four USB2.0 ports, four COM ports, one parallel port as well as one EIDE and one CompactFlash socket for storage.

In addition, the module has a PC/104+ expansion interface that will allow it to use additional PC/104+, PC/104 or PCI-104 peripherals. Video support is handled by the LynxEM4+ SM1712GF4 chipset in order to achieve simultaneous and dual view CRT/LCD with up to 1280 x 1024 @ 85Hz colors for CRT and 1024 x 768 @ 24bpp colors for LCD display. Due to the inclusion of this chipset, the PFM-535S also supports TTL panels up to 24-bit.
