The new Intel Core i5/i7 GENE-QM57 3.5" single board computer can support a 204-pin DDR3 SODIMM for up to 4GB of system memory. It has two SATA 3.0Gb/s interfaces and a CFast connector for operating system usage and storage.

The GENE-QM57 also comes with Intel 82577LM and Intel 82574L Gigabit Ethernet ports to support reliable fast network connectivity. Using the ITE IT8712 I/O chipset, this board has eight USB2.0 ports, one RS-232 port, one RS-232/422/485 port, a keyboard/mouse port, two-channel HD audio with one line-in, line-out, mic-in and supports 8-bit programmable digital I/O. Furthermore, the GENE-QM57 has one MiniPCI Express (MiniCard) slot for optional expansion capability.
