The GENE-QM67 is the latest in a series of industrial computer boards from AAEON Technology supporting the latest 2nd generation Core i5 Mobile / Celeron M Socket G2 889B processors. The GENE-QM67 supports up to 8GB of high performance DDR3 SODIMM memory and is one of the first industrial boards on the market to support the latest SATA3.0 specification. Controlled by the ITE IT8728 I/O Chipset, the GENE-QM67 has a generous selection of I/O features. This includes eight USB2.0 ports, three RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port with auto flow and an 8-bit general purpose digital I/O. Networking with the GENE-QM67 includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, controlled by the Intel 82579LM and Realtek RTL-8111E Ethernet chipsets. For added reliability you can lock down the GENE-QM67 with an optional Trust Platform Module (Infineon SLB 9635TT 1.2). Furthermore, for added peace of mind you can remotely manage and upgrade the GENE-QM67 with Intel’s Active Management Technology (iAMT 7.0).
