The built-in battery provides an innovative UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) function ensuring the POC-3174B is used effectively for medical cart applications where the power supply can be intermittant. The built-in UPS battery allows standby power for data backup and management control under sudden power shut-down situations increasing redundancy for real-time medical record processing.



The smart AUPS software allows easy remote management via the LAN connection enablling monitoring from a central station including "current power source", "battery status", "charging status" and "battery life monitoring" for each POC-3174B thereby reducing the maintenance cost for the end user.
